Ibex 320L: the everyday scope
The compact Ibex is the one that comes out on most rat jobs: checking runs along wall bases, hedges and bin stores after dark, and confirming live activity before anything is laid.
View at ThermTec UKThermal imaging shows body heat in the dark: rodent runs, burrows, roosting birds and live movement, without lights and without disturbing anything. On our jobs that is the ThermTec Ibex 320L and Ibex 335L.

Rats and feral pigeons are most active when you cannot see them. A torch moves them on and tells you nothing. A thermal scope turns a dark yard, barn or rooftop into a readable picture: warm bodies, warm runs, warm gaps in brickwork where something has just gone in.
Kieran runs two Ibex scopes. The 320L is the compact unit for most domestic and commercial rat work; the 335L has the longer lens for open ground and larger buildings, which is where it earns its place on pigeon work.
Thermal does not replace a proper inspection. It makes the inspection honest, because it shows activity rather than guessing at it.

The 335L carries the longer lens of the two. It earns its place on open ground, farm yards and larger roofs, where pigeon roosts and rat harbourage sit further from where you can stand.
View at ThermTec UKThermal kit does not catch rats or move pigeons on its own. It tells us where to work and shows whether the work has held, and that is what keeps visits short and treatments targeted.
ThermTec UK lists the full Ibex series, including the 320L and 335L we use, on its own site.
